Iam pretty much another wrestling fan and a WWE fan out there. I also really like video games alot. I found a site which some time ago, but never had a chance to blog it because of me either being busy or lazy or both lolz. Seriously though this site has great updates on gaming and wrestling those are my some of my hobbies one reason I go to their website and follow them at twitter.

Captainstarball was founded in January 2011 by the staff of the site Borderlands Guide. Borderlands Guide is still up and kicking but was dedicated to one game. When we wanted to talk about other stuff, we didn't have a venue for it.
And we had a lot to talk about it. There's a ton of gaming sites. Some are good but there's way too many faceless sites parroting the same information over and over again. Where's the thinking and honest opinions, people? We still have brains, don't we? Please say yes!
Not long after we started the site, we were joined by the fearless and talented jbl316, who has led our editorial strategy. Currently, we have a focus on the intersection of gaming of wrestling but we also step outside of those boundaries to publish what needs to be said. For example, see our popular series on the DMC backlash.
If you've got something you want to shout to the world, we would love to hear from you. Our editors work closely with submissions to make sure your voice will ring loud and true.
And what does Captainstarball mean? We engaged an elite management consulting firm to conduct multi-year, multi-million dollar research on the ideal name for our target demographic. They arrived at Captainstarball.
Kidding. We couldn't afford that. The real way we got that name was the pet monkey in our office (who also serves as our CTO) spelled it out in his Alpha-Bits cereal one day. He also spelled GLKDJFLKC, which didn't work as well.

Katawa Shoujo

Katawa Shoujo is a bishoujo-style visual novel set in the fictional Yamaku High School for disabled children, located somewhere in modern Japan. Hisao Nakai, a normal boy living a normal life, has his life turned upside down when a congenital heart defect forces him to move to a new school after a long hospitalization. Despite his difficulties, Hisao is able to find friends—and perhaps love, if he plays his cards right. There are five main paths corresponding to the 5 main female characters, each path following the storyline pertaining to that character.

The story is told through the perspective of the main character, using a first person narrative. The game uses a traditional text and sprite-based visual novel model with an ADV text box.

Katawa Shoujo contains adult material, and was created using the Ren'Py scripting system. It is the product of an international team of amateur developers, and is available free of charge under the Creative Commons BY-NC-ND License

Hisao Nakai - main character

Troubled over his months-long stay at the hospital after his heart almost gave out and trying to adjust to his new surroundings, he is trying hard to find his place in the world. After being thrown into a new beginning, the chaotic circumstances have forced Hisao to rethink his apathetic disposition, especially regarding things like life, friendship and future.

At January 4, 2012 Four Leaf Studios proudly presents the full release of Katawa Shoujo, 3 years ago there was a demo of this game slight tweaks where made in the music and art along with some editing. It is free of charge, yes you don't have to pay for it. It was created, planned for over five long years with 21 developers world wide, yes different people in different countries worked on this visual novel along with various contributors. Katawa Shoujo means "Cripple Girl" or "Disabled Girl" girls with handicaps.

American rock band Linkin Park is partnering with Good Smile Company to hold an event titled “A Thousand Horizon“, which will be divided in 2 parts: A Thousand Horizon Museum and A Thousand Horizon Show. GSC will be selling goodies at the event and part of the sales will be donated to the earthquake affected areas through Music for Relief.

Apart from T-Shirts, iPhone 4 cases, and other goodies, GSC will also make Nendoroid Petit to sell at the event. Since I could not read Japanese well, I can only guess that it would be Nendoroid Petit rendetion of LINKIN PARK’s 6 band members. ^^

DmC Backlash : An article about how it's not the hair

 

 DmC Backlash

Since day one when the new DmC-Devil May Cry Reboot was shown in Tokyo Games 2010 I've been in a raging mood up to now with this direction of one of my favorite Capcom game franchise. They said wait and did a no show on Captivate and said E3 they'll make a big splash and would make the fans go back to game. That splash was a trailer gameplay quote "Gamplay Work In Progress". Which was decent enough, but analyze the trailer completely it doesn't feel like a Devil May Cry game. Everything seems to be out of place, different and awkward. There are too many things that can be said for this reboot, but mostly all articles in the net seems to insult fans of the original game series because of the backlash and others seemed to be paid off. There is one article writer though that knows what's going down with this new DmC and has every fan argument why this reboot sucks from day one. Links are below.

EventStatus is a gamer, sports fan and overall a great guy. He reviews the latest in games and sports, he's really a dedicated guy and a true gamer which I really like about him, he's not arrogant, he's a down to earth guy, his reviews are non bias, he gives all the details and links in the info bar on youtube and has great insights and opinions about each certain topic he doing in youtube. His video's are pretty long about 15 to 20 mins or more, but it's really full of great information and great opinions which leans towards us the gamers and fans for a company to improve themselves. I suggest you guys check him out at his youtube channel and FaceBook. 100% I guarantee you'll be greatly entertained and amazed by his reviews and comments on games.

Cobra: The Space Pirate! Live Action film

An upcoming movie adaptation of classic space pirate manga Cobra, due in 2013 and titled “Cobra: The Space Pirate,” has the unusual distinction of actually being well received, largely thanks to the rather striking promotional image above.

The live action adaptation is to be directed by Alexandre Aja, known for such classics as Piranha 3D and Mirrors.

Iam pretty much looking forward to this since the promotional movie poster looks great. Iam hoping it'll have some great action packed scenes along with beautiful alien women in their thongs. lol

But as seen in most animes and games turned Hollywood movies isn't that good, Iam just praying this one will be the difference maker. Till 2013 or a teaser trailer I'll reserve my judgement.

Shueisha recently announced that the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku will appear on this the 15th issue Weekly Playboy Magazine alongside gravure idol Risa Yoshiki. The four-page feature will be called "Pixeloid: 5th Dimension Girls Yoshiki Risa x Hatsune Miku."

A video to promote the "Pixeloid: 5th Dimension Girls Yoshiki Risa x Hatsune Miku" spread has been posted on the official site of Shueisha's Weekly Playboy. The illustrator "bob" drew three images of Miku Hatsune, which were inserted into photographs from a studio photo shoot with Risa Yoshiki. Shueisha posted an image of the feature's first page.

Bad Month of March

Bad Month of March


Been having some trouble this month of march, busy week after week from personal private stuff which stresses me out. Other than that my PC broke down(all my porn collection are gone!) and had to buy a new one, unpaid bills to pay, going on long boring errands, my pre-ordered toys haven't arrived yet, been in a car accident and finally now mushrooms are growing on my house really WTF?!! Anyways March is almost over and it's almost April hoping after April Fools the days of that month will be better.

Devil May Cry Movie

A live action Devil May Cry movie is on the works. Will it be like the Resident Evil movies? Or the Street Fighter movies? Anyways as long as they stick to the iconic Dante in the movie and not the Ninja Theory reboot Dante. Also in my opinion they should star Reuben Langdon as Dante. He's well known to play the voice actor and motion capture of Dante in Devil May Cry 3 and 4 .

Aldra's story as Wife.

In our daily lives as Christians spiritually we need to have that communication with God. Mother Mary's Rosary prayer, The Angelus, going to church on Sundays and others. But in our busy life style at times we cannot fulfill all of them, but we all can pose for a minute of our time and pray a minuted prayer to God. Here is the 3 O'Clock Prayer to the Divine Mercy, where a prayer will only take a solem minute of your time just to be with God. His love and mercy will forever will be there, that's why in the begging of the prayer we always put our faith in God "Jesus I trust in You".

What If?

WWWhat if? is a website dedicated to exploring the “what ifs” in life. As of right now, the site is dedicated in 3 areas: Animes, Games, and News. Each Category will have its dedicated page in which ideas will be shared and explored. The main site (home) will server as a place to display your owns stories/points of you view. This will occur when a staff member finds sees a really compelling reply to one of our stories and decides to publish your reply to it on the front page, or hub (WWWhatif.com).

Moreover, our plan is to keep up with current events in the anime, games, and national/international world and exploring how certain subjects could be expanded on, taken into a completely different direction, or how it the lack of “it” what have impacted us.

Type-moon’s Takeuchi Takashi will be pairing up with mangaka Kobayashi Jin (School Rumble, Natsu no arashi) to release a 36 page full colour A3 sized doujinshi under the doujin circle Rubicon Hearts for the coming Winter Comiket.

The title of the doujinshi will be called “Kyoto, haru.”, which basically means Spring in Kyoto. They have apparently also got a number of different artists to draw background scenary in the book, and the center page spread will be an A2 sized illustration.

Takeuchi’s comment:

I’ve always been thinking that I want to do original doujinshi once more again. But it has always been a kind of a “vague” feeling that always ended up “vaguely” unable to come into fruition.

“Lets go to Kyoto now! We will see the sakura and make the book!”

What broke my “vague” feeling was Kobayashi Jin’s great enthusiasm.

I thought that he would make some absurd suggestions, but at the same time I started getting more and more enthusiastic about the entire thing too. This was the same kind of feeling I constantly had 10 years ago. This feeling is probably the start where all my creative work came from.

I would be happy if this book can become a special part of somebody’s life out there.

Kobayashi’s comment:

“I want to do doujin!” I’ve always had that thought in my mind. To me, creative work outside of commercial business has been highly idealized in my mind.

To be in a hall with very little people, where people might not even be aware of your existence but parts of your book may remain in somebody’s consciousness. An extremely simple way of sending out information. Though it might not go the same way as I imagine it.

This time I’ll be with a great veteran Takeuchi-san. Even though I was nervous about this, I drew everything with some guidance from Takeuchi-san. Takeuchi-san is still as hot-blooded as always. I can’t hesitate! It’ll be a waste of myself!

LTNB (Long Time No Blogging)

Hi...been a long time gone since pretty much I've been busy with my personal life and had to choose between my hobbies and career. I thought hard...then I noticed my bills, my photobucket isn't up, Iam gaining alot of weight. So I've decided to stopped for a bit on my hobbies games, anime, etc. Now Iam back, but not at a 100%. I'll probably be casual anime watcher and collector now as of late since I've been missing out on ALOT of anime shows and stuff. So final words, Iam glad I've given sometime to see the real world, but missed the fun of my hobbies.
